How to Increase the Level of Happiness (and Success) when Running a Design Business
Sometimes, running a design business, or any business for that matter, is just less fun. You might feel less motivated, anxious, you might be working around the clock and still not getting the results you wish for and deserve. This you?
We’re in passion business, alright! But that doesn’t mean that we’re not in it for the money. Because, let’s face it, even if you decided to work in design because you LOVE DESIGN, you still want to earn a good living doing what you love.
The amount of happiness if usually pretty closely tied to the level of revenue you’re at. In the beginning, it all feels so fun and exciting, you can’t wait to start working with your design clients. Then, after a while, your excitements turns into a stress… where to get the next client…? When to get the next project…?
And if the clients don’t start to come your way, what happens? Anxiety, more stress. And your response to this? Probably more random tactics, more time on social media, more and more calling your previous clients for referrals in trying to find a project.
I created an illustration of success. What success means to you, only you know. But one thing surely applied to most of us: no clients, no work, no success.
Here’s the roadmap. As you can see, the levels of happiness change towards the better when the amount of quality leads increase. When you constantly (and effortlessly) create high-quality leads for your business, a number of high-quality clients also increases, which leads you to the situation where you can pick and choose the clients you want to work with, and skip the boring project that would only give you a massive headache and not any real joy and revenue.
Do you have a lead generation system in place? Is that working for you 24/7 so that you can enjoy doing what you: DESIGN?
If you’re not sure yet how to build a system that’s generating leads and clients on autopilot, download the Design Client Attraction blueprint and start getting the clients you deserve.
